Two kitchens with set hours

Couchiching Court Buffet sits on the casino floor, so it admits guests 19 and over only. It serves dinner on Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Nothing else on its timetable is posted, so plan lunch somewhere else.

Centre Bar is the sports bar in the middle of the floor, and it is 19+ as well. It opens every day at 11 a.m. and closes at 2 a.m. Those hours stay the same in every season. Holiday hours are not published, so call 1-800-832-7529 before a holiday weekend.

    The rest of the list

    Five more, hours by phone

Chow Lucky Noodle Bar, also on the casino floor, admits only guests 19 and over, just as the buffet does. The steakhouse is ATLAS steak + fish. For a group with someone under 19, MATCH Eatery & Public House works well as a pub and sports bar suited to families.

Two others are close to the hotel. The Weirs serves as the hotel lobby restaurant, while Firestarter Lounge sits just off the lobby, opposite The Weirs.

None of these five posts its hours. Call 1-800-832-7529 to ask when a kitchen is serving. The same number takes reservations for a number of the restaurants, so ask for a table on that call. On Eastern time, the line answers from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

    Tables that seat teenagers

Under-19 guests can dine at The Weirs, Firestarter Lounge, ATLAS steak + fish and MATCH Eatery & Public House. The remaining three are closed to them: Couchiching Court Buffet, Chow Lucky Noodle Bar and Centre Bar are all on the casino floor and admit only those 19 and over. For groups with teenagers, MATCH is the pub suited to families. Adults going to the spots on the floor need valid government-issued photo ID.
